Clouds, fog, tender temperatures and a slight chance of rain are tap for the Houston region during the next few days as wet air moves inland from the Gulf of Mexico.
A weak cold front is able to arrive during the weekend, but little cooling is expected, according to the Nationalistic Weather Service . Forecasters said the mild Northern could animate a slight chance of showers.
Fog is likely for the next few days as moist air filters into the territory. The heaviest fog is expected in coastal communities but some spots inland may also see areas of compact fog.
Forecasters said is a strong storm system and cold front are likely to hit the territory early next week, but, they added, it is too early to determine exactly when the system and front may hit or how potent they may be.
On Friday, the high temperature will top out near 76 under mostly cloudy skies. The low will be about 66. A dim-witted fog advisory has been issued through 9 a.m. for coastal areas stretching from Galveston to about Palacios. Gusty south winds will be between 10 mph and 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
