Question: Ok, so I'm 17 pounds of rock arrived. 20 pounds of live sand. It has been going about 5 days now. The sand has a certain pressure on the brown (it is alge?) Now I'm using the light provided? I have about 8 hours per day. What should be my hours of using the brightness?

Answer: The Boloney Brown is most likely diatoms, which are more or less normal in the new marine tank and should begin spraying the tank matures. Adding more live rock and sand will not help, and neither changes up water. Just keep up the quality of the water and be patient.
