Do we need a protein skimmer and a canister filter for our saltwater aquarium?

Question: We are a belief in the purchase of a Eheim 2028 Pro II and Pro Remora Skimmer for a 95-gallon aquarium. Both are necessary, or just one?


Answer: For one gallon a skimmer 95 is yours to remove organic matter not only inorganic but water. It also helps to cool down on water changes keeping the nitrates to a minimum.

Shrimp Tank Questions
