How do I get my '92 1300 Classic Mini to idle properly?
Question: It idles reliably when quite cold (obviously with the choke in use), but then idles very badly to know. reduce starterless very depressing to use until it is super warm (10 + mile pilgrimage).
What are the most obvious things to watch?
Answer: It appears that you have a crack of air, somewhere, leaning the idle mixture, the carbon canister being charged a risk, if all the pipes are OK, they are brittle with age and crack.
Test it by simply blocking the pipe between the carbs and houses thermostat.
