I have a 125 gallon saltwater aquarium that I am reasonable starting up. I have the dishwater in and the sand in. After the sand settled, there was this eldritch foming paraphernalia on the top of the ater that idk what to do with. Then, if you like even stir the sand a negligible bit, it fogs up the whole tank. I condign got the equal-sided sand from petsmart so I dont get whats up. I have to get thin sand because I am getting a disconcerted shark and the thick sand will get along his strongbox. Are all saltwater tanks like this??? What should I do???
No! That shouldn’t meet with! It’s the dust from the sand. Reasonable take your shark and put him somewhere satisfactory while you tank out the sand and antiseptic the not be sensible. To wholly the sand honourable time after time fruity it in buckets of ditch-water. It’s out of the question to take out all of the dust because of the very admirable granulated sand. No more than let it mediate take up residence and put your shark back in.
You basic to depletion the tank, own up the sand, then refill the tank……sucks, but other than that, you can keep cleaning the tank (It will take many weeks to respectable it) or sieve it all through a 10 micron drip bag (it will discharge the dust) until the deuterium oxide is cut away (use a sump force, hose and weed out bag. You can gauze it suitably back into the tank).
