How often should I change the water in my 10 gallon aquarium?

Question: I have an aquarium of 10 gallons aquarium that i have 3 platies 3 danios and a pleco. How many times do I change how often unworkable and should I change the filter cartridge.

You could to all intents have 50 shrimp in there with the Neons, 100 without the Neons.

Each single shrimp only puts a very tight bioload on the tank, so the system can withstand a LOT of them.

I dont propose you buy that many though, but you should get a dozen or so and see if they give rise to for you. That way you have array for the progeny.
